In the GP surgery and in the patient's own home the HeartScan ECG monitor offers a fast way to pre-screen patients on the possiblity of cardiovascular disease related complaints. Within 30 seconds, and completely electode and cable free, the HeartScan can show events such as ectopic beats, premature ventricular contractions, supraventricular beats and S-T deviations.

The optional 'Keep it Simple' software, allows viewing of the ECG, importing of data from the HeartScan to a computer for printing, detailed review, comparisons and archiving.

The Omron HeartScan HCG-801 is a low cost, compact hand-held single channel ECG which is ideal for screening for arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation.
